CE Workshop | Ayurveda: Practical Applications in the Teaching of Yoga, Part 3

with Anjali Sunita (E-RYT 500, YACEP).  Ayurveda is a sister science to yoga and one of the oldest natural healing systems on the planet, with South Asian roots. The final part of this three-part workshop series will narrow in on the key sites, gunas, and five sub-doshas of Vāta (the vayus), as they pertain to bodily functions, pranayama practices, and asana. There will be readings from classical sutras and a short grounding practice to balance vāta dosha (space and air elements).

CE Workshop | Keep it Fun, Keep it Yoga: Teaching for Children

Learn how to share yoga with preschool children appropriately and safely, along with specific techniques to help children relax and focus. Practice structuring a 30 to 45-minute class, and a guided relaxation using breath and visualization. This workshop also reviews guidelines for children with ADHD and Autism.
